Terms & Conditions for Content Submissions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the submission of photos, videos, and stories (collectively referred to as "Content") by individuals ("User" or "Users") for use by Believe Limited ("Believe Limited") on their branded (Believe Limited) and affiliated (BloodStream Media, FLOW, Global Hemophilia Report, Stop The Bleeding, The Science Fair) social media channels and websites. By submitting Content, Users agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility:

1.1 Users must be at least 18 years of age, have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction to submit Content or have written consent from their legal guardian.

1.2 Users must have the legal right to grant the permissions and licenses described in these Terms.

2. Content Submission:

2.1 By submitting Content, Users grant the Believe Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the Content in any medium and for any purpose.

2.2 Users retain ownership of the Content and may continue to use it for their own purposes.

2.3 Content must not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

2.4 Users acknowledge that the Believe Limited may choose not to use their submitted Content without providing any reason, and the Believe Limited retains sole discretion in this regard.

3. Rights and Permissions:

3.1 Users represent and warrant that they have all necessary rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and permissions from individuals depicted in the Content, to grant the licenses described herein.

3.2 Believe Limited reserves the right to edit, crop, or otherwise modify the Content for clarity, aesthetics, or to comply with Believe Limited’s social media guidelines.

3.3 Users acknowledge that the Believe Limited may credit them by their social media handle or name when using their Content but are under no obligation to do so.

4. User Representations and Warranties:

4.1 Users represent and warrant that:

a. They have the legal right and authority to enter into these Terms and to grant the rights and licenses described herein.

b. The Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.

c. They have obtained all necessary permissions and releases from individuals depicted in the Content.

5. Indemnification:

5.1 Users agree to indemnify and hold the Believe Limited harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the Content submitted by the User.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

6.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].

7. Miscellaneous:

7.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the User and the Believe Limited concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings.

7.2 These Terms may be amended or modified by the Believe Limited at any time without prior notice.

7.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By submitting Content, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
